I am officially in my last trimester EVER! This is so bittersweet.
What I look like this week:
What Rose looks like this week:
This week, according to BabyCenter, Rose weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
Weight gain: 106lbs up two pounds since I weighed myself two weeks ago-- a total of 12lbs this pregnancy.
Sleep: Sleep is still going well! It is getting harder each week to switch sides while laying down. Also, getting out of bed is getting a little tough.
Eating: So much better since being home! I truly feel better when I eat healthier. Here are a few pictures from this weeks eats:
Movement: Big kicks and rolls!
What I'm loving: Being in the third trimester and feeling pretty great for being 7 months pregnant! It is crazy to think at this point in my past pregnancies Landon was just born, Oliver was born in 9 weeks and Trent was born in 8 weeks! It makes me feel a little nervous because that sounds so soon and we haven't done much to get ready for Rose! I should probably start washing her clothes and blankets soon, maybe even start thinking about packing my hospital bag (eek!)
Symptoms: Still having vivid dreams, strange body parts falling asleep, dry skin, heartburn and braxton hicks, randomly.
Exercise: It feels great to be home and walking again! I am averaging 2-3 miles, 5 to 6 days a week and plan to keep it up as long as I feel comfortable!
MONDAY, JULY 13: 3.03 miles
TUESDAY, JULY 7: REST (on vacation)
WEDNESDAY, JULY 8: REST (on vacation)
THURSDAY, JULY 9: REST (on vacation)
FRIDAY, JULY 10: 2.11 miles on the beach
SATURDAY, JULY 11: 3.06 miles
SUNDAY, JULY 12: 3.16 miles
TOTAL MILES: 11.36 miles
What I'm looking forward to: Our HD live ultrasound tomorrow evening! The one we did back in May around 19 weeks was so fun, but I know Rose has developed some chubby cheeks since then and I can't wait to see them! This ultrasound will be extra special since my parents will be there and all three of our boys!

Just for fun here is a comparison in the same shirt at 28 weeks with Oliver, Trent and Rose:
It is crazy how much smaller/higher I am carrying our daughter compared to our sons because at my ultrasounds she is measuring the same as them if not bigger and I have gained just about the same weight as I did with Trent! Pregnancy is amazing.
